Causeway Foundation 2012 Holiday Card Campaign
The Causeway Foundation is celebrating its 12th year of its Holiday Card Campaign—a volunteer run campaign that has raised over $120,000, through the support of its sponsors, local artists and the generosity of the National Capital community.
The Holiday Card Campaign raises funds to support Causeway Work Centre. Each year hundreds of people with mental health issues and other barriers to employment come to Causeway to enhance their skills, receive one-on-one support, overcome challenges, find employment and begin the journey to a more independent life.
The 2012 Holiday Card Campaign patron is Lucy van Oldenbarneveld, host of CBC News Ottawa at 5, 5:30 & 6 and is sponsored by: RBC, Smith Petrie Carr & Scott Insurance Brokers Ltd., OnConference Inc, Alexander Construction, Banfield Seguin Ltd. and TriCo Evolution.
This year, the cards feature six original designs – paintings and photographs highlighting iconic Ottawa scenes. The images are donated by local artists Bhat Boy, Erin Robertson and James Roditis. Bilingual descriptive text appears on the card backs and custom printing of a personal message inside the card is available, at no charge, for those purchasing 10 packages or more. These unique cards can be purchased for just $10 per eight-card pack.
